From their 18th century barn near Whitstable, Kent, the duo of Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin at Smallfilms have produced some of the most charming and baffling British children’s animation ever made. Perhaps the most notable of the series they are responsible for in terms of its impact on popular culture is the Clangers.
